The latest issue of The Wire magazine (413 - July 2018) features Nadah El Shazly by Ayla Hibri on the cover and includes a feature titled “Cairo’s New Wave” which focuses on Nadah, Maurice Louca, The Dwarfs of East Agouza.
Over the last five years we worked tirelessly to make sure that this music, was presented and represented on its own terms - outside the categorisations of genre, of geographical delineation, and without nostalgic cultural trappings. And we couldn't be happier to reap such fruit.
